Chrissy Bruzek is an actor, comedian, writer, musician, and producer based in Los Angeles, CA. She performs monthly at The Pack Theater on the house sketch team, Lick, co-produces the monthly show Book Report at the Pack Theater, is a regular at the Femmedy Trio Comedy Music Hour at UCB Inner Sanctum, and regularly performs her solo musical comedy act all over Los Angeles. She trained and performed at Second City Chicago, iO Chicago, The Annoyance Theater Chicago, Stage 773 Chicago, Annie Grindlay Acting Studio, and The Pack Theater.
She has been in videos on the iO Comedy Network and StoryBoard Productions and her writing has been featured on WhoHaha. She also kind of won a Cannes Lion in copywriting for Chicago’s Field Museum, which is basically the Oscars of the advertising world.
She was an ensemble member of Stage 773’s The Cupid Players for two years, one of the longest running musical comedy shows in Chicago, IL. She performed at Austin’s Out of Bounds Festival, Chicago Women’s Funny Festival, Boston's Women in Comedy Festival, and performed in the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival four years in a row. Her performance credits include The Comedy Store, The Icehouse, Flapper’s, Upright Citizen’s Brigade Sunset, Second City Chicago and Hollywood, The Ruby LA, The Pack Theater, The Improv Space, Tao Comedy Studio, iO Chicago, Playground Theater Chicago, and The Crowd Theater.
Chrissy also volunteers with Angel City Pitbulls, a nonprofit rescue organization dedicated to creating a better future for pit bull dogs in Los Angeles, and Rock ‘N Roll Camp for Girls, a social justice non-profit dedicated to empowering girls through music.
She can make up a song about anything, is loved by all dogs the world over, has never been on a rollercoaster, and can put down a pound of pasta in one sitting.
